Advantages

  1. Can be used with liquids with a specific gravity of 0.8 to 1.2.
  2. Float position can be set freely.
  3. It can detect up to about 9m.

Features

  • Resistant to adhesion: If there is no adhesion that exceeds weight of float, there will be no effect on operation.
  • Easy to set up: Works anywhere on wire. You can freely change float position with just one screwdriver.
  • Resistant to waves and currents: A self-holding circuit is added to contact and a balance weight is attached to lower end of the wire, so it is almost unaffected by ripples or currents on liquid surface.

Operating principle

A float integrated with wire moves up and down due to buoyancy as liquid level changes. A magnet at top of wire opens and closes a reed switch built into bottom of terminal box to detect water level.

How to use?

  1. Mounting position-1:

Please install it away from strong magnetic fields such as motors, transformers, solenoid valves, etc.
  2. Mounting position-2:

Avoid using product in areas with strong currents, such as inlet, outlet, locations that come into direct contact with water, and locations with agitators.
  3. Wiring:

Contact reed switches are voltage-free contacts and cannot be repaired if damaged.
Before turning on power, be sure to check that there are no short circuits, overloads, or incorrect wiring.

  4. Float position adjustment:

Operating position is 20mm from top surface of float. Loosen fixing screw with a screwdriver, move it to desired position, then tighten screw again and secure with nut. Tighten screws to a torque of 0.35 to 0.4Nm.
Wire digs into groove, making it difficult to fall.
