Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company was formerly known as the Bim Son Cement Plant. Built in the early 80"s, the plant has a design capacity of 1.20 million tonnes / year with modern technical and technological equipment of the Soviet Union. Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company is a state enterprise under the Vietnam Cement Corporation, functional organization of production and supply of cement to customers in the area assigned to undertake. With a capacity of lines and internal capacity, Bim Son Cement Company have enough production capacity to serve the needs of cement and clinker export to other countries in the region. March / 1994, the Prime Minister has approved the renovation project to modernize line 2, switch production technology. This project was started on 13.01.2001, by the Japanese company IHI winning design implementation and provides technical equipment to improve the capacity of furnace No. 2 from 1750 tonne clinker / day to 3,500 tons of clinker / day . The company has completed new line projects, raise its capacity to 2 million tonnes / year by the end of 2008, bringing the plant"s capacity to 3.2 million tons of cement / year.
